Bautifuly set 2006 edition course started atop of Gunnar and veered left through the recently opened Yodeler trail, then back to Gunnar flats and steeps. The entry to the steeps was through a sharp left turn that, if well executed, would set you pretty well for the easy carves to final at a really good speed. It's a downhill, afterall!
Abundant finish area, although most of the racers were opting to stop past the last fence gate. It just felt better to slow down at a slower pace but there was no risk of colision with other traffic.
Now, read this: due to FOG the race was called off! What a bummer, but even inspection felt great and made my day. I recommend you mark your calendar for the next year.
Thanks to everyone who helped organize the race!
